Claire Chabrières
Founder – ShiokFarm

Entrepreneurial by nature, Claire started ShiokFarm in 2015 when realising the high prices for organic fruit and vegetables in Singapore. Based on the French AMAP model, in which Farmers and a community create a partnership in order to reduce food waste and cost, ShiokFarm aims to provide families and offices in Singapore with affordable organic fruit and vegetables while reducing food waste.

Starting with a small Facebook group, Claire has succeeded in making ShiokFarm an outstanding organic business. ShiokFarm received its BCorp certification in 2023. As of 2025, it has launched B2B (business-to-business) operations in Hong Kong (Fruit@TheOffice).

Shen Hui Tan
Founder - Kizuna

My first job was with a major consulting company in Japan. I appreciated my time there, but was always yearning to do something with a greater direct impact, and something that gives me a greater sense of purpose. I am blessed to have the opportunity to travel the world, and be exposed to different perspectives, ways of living and available alternatives!

A series of serendipitous events led to the founding of merchandise.blue with two highly experienced and interesting friends. Merchandise.blue offered merchandise like uniforms, towels and bags in more environmentally progressive textiles made of materials like seaweed, organic cotton and recycled fishing nets.

When the opportunity to open Kizuna arose, it was clear that I wanted to apply similar values and principles to this physical space.

Julia Thio
ESG Partnership Officer - Liberty Society

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geography from Universitas Gadjah Mada. During my college years, I was interested in urban studies (infrastructure, urban planning, and public transportation). I believed that businesses always harmed the environment and believed in the power of research. Yet, I was not satisfied with the impact it had. It was then that I began to think about how to 'change' the business system: profitably, benefitting the communities, preventing damage to the environment, and restoring it.

'Sustainability in business' became my cause. While research has its value, it is businesses that truly implement change and have a direct impact on the environment and society. And I want to make a real impact.

Audrey Yang
Founder, Sustainability Consultant - Thought Partner Eco

I'm a Sustainability Consultant & Speaker, founder of Thought Partner Eco — an SME's partner in sustainability.

99% of businesses are made up of SMEs who could collectively make a huge impact in lowering the carbon footprint of the world’s economy. Yet, existing resources are more applicable to large corporations with large budgets, who have staff in sustainability roles to develop and execute on those initiatives. SMEs usually have neither. I fill this gap by providing relevant educational and strategic support at an affordable rate.

I've supported clients across industries — creative, tech, health care and fashion —on education, strategy and sustainability communications. Play-based learning workshops are available too.

Other than consulting, I'm an experienced speaker, workshop facilitator, and I have been featured in AsiaOne, CNA, The Straits Times, Eco Business and more.

Here are some topics I'm familiar with:

  • Consumerism
  • Greenwashing
  • Digital Sustainability
  • Advocacy and Activism
  • Corporate Sustainability
  • Sustainability in Fashion
  • Sustainable Events

Feel free to reach out for a sustainability chat ☕️

Tali Goldman
Founder and Managing Director - Market for Good

I strongly believe that businesses have a responsibility to make a positive impact through their products and services, and that corporations are in the best position to drive this change while delivering on business objectives.
