I'm an environmental strategist with ten years of experience transforming small teams to become more sustainable via capacity-building, learning from best practices of other teams elsewhere, as well as agile team management methods with scientific experimentation in person to verify hypotheses from case studies.

I became interested in sustainability after watching videos on animals and how they are treated in the industrial modern food system - that is to say, very cruelly. That sparked my journey towards rethinking not just food and drink but also every little part of our daily life such as transport, circular economy, and food waste composting rather than incineration. I've led teams working on topics as diverse as plastic pollution in the Citarum in Java, Indonesia, to carbon divestment activism on university campuses building capacity based on successes in the US and Malaysia.
My entire family has been recycling food waste as compost for about two years now!
Building a good habit is the most important part - taking time out every day to journal and reflect on what I would like to grow towards has been a critical part of my praxis.
